BBQ Fundraiser
Come out and get some delicious BBQ sandwiches for you and your family at our annual Pentwater Fire Association Fundraiser! Located at the Village Green during the Pentwater Fall Arts & Crafts Fair, which is the third Saturday of September.
We smoke our meat all night, then serve from 11am until our sandwiches are gone! Each meal comes with two sandwiches, a side of coleslaw, baked beans, and chips—all for only $10. A variety of soft drinks are available for purchase as well.
Homecoming
Just ask anyone who’s been around Pentwater for a while and they’ll tell you that July 4th and Homecoming weekend are the two biggest weekends all summer.
PFD is always a key participant in the Homecoming festivities, as we participate in the parade and oversee the fireworks down at the Charles Mears State Park in the evening. You definitely don’t want to miss out on Homecoming weekend in Pentwater!
Open house
Come and Meet your local firefighters and visit the station. We will be more than happy to answer any questions that you have about the upcoming millage request and give you a tour of the station and show you our trucks and equipment.

July Fourth Fireworks
There’s perhaps nothing more nostalgic for Americans than Fourth of July weekend and Pentwater sure knows how to celebrate! You won’t want to miss the good ol’, small-town, Americana atmosphere of Pentwater’s July 4th celebration.
PFD is always busy, as the firework display at the beach at Charles Mears State Park requires a lot of planning and coordination. Please note that the roundabout closes @ 6:00pm for set-up and a section of the beach must be cordoned off for safety’s sake. Pentwater’s fireworks are always held in the evening of July 3rd.

Santa on the Green
Every Saturday after Thanksgiving, Santa comes to town! This tradition has been carried on by our assistant chief, Terry Cluchey, for many years and it’s an enjoyable event for all.
Halloween Doughnuts
If you were previously unaware that PFD gives out doughnuts to trick-or-treaters on Halloween, you have no excuse now. Made fresh that morning, these doughnuts are well worth the stop for your kids or grandkids! It’s also a great excuse to come down and check out our firetrucks.
